One of the older copiers I run, the Minolta EP4000 One of the things I forgot to mention is that an analogue copier must scan the original once for every copy to be made, where a digital can scan once and print many copiers from the digital scanned image, or manipulate the image before printing in ways analogue machines can’t.

1085’s are great machines!, I had a dozen or so with the last lot of scrap machines I got, fixed and sold 6 of them for $80 each, no complaints or parts requests in 12 months so far!, just toner sales.

I think there is a 60 or even 80ppm EP series machine, but they are massive things!

$200 – $250 AUD is about all this one is worth too, once a new model comes out thats the end of your resale value!

Oh pardon me; it was 45ppm.

A couple of years ago I saw one of these (a 60ppm model) at a local thrift store which was only US$150! It worked great.
